31-week belly!!

So here are some pictures we took in my studio. I've always wanted some really cool belly shots like these. I am sure we will treasure these moments forever. It's awesome to be pregnant, especially now that Isabella doesn't stop moving! I'm almost sad it's going to be over soon, but I really want to see her face!

Showered with love!

Last Saturday I had the most wonderful baby shower! My
friend Sharon organized the whole thing and she had a lot
of help from Briett, Dana and Geneil. Everything looked
really nice, the food was delicious and we all had a lot of fun!
Many of my great friends from our Church came. It was
awesome!
We played three really fun games:
-Diaper game: they melted 15 different types of candy bars
inside 15 disposable diapers and people had to figure out
which candy bar it was. People were looking, smelling and
even
tasting!! LOL! Really gross and fun at the same time!
-Draw the baby game: people were supposed to draw a baby
on a paper plate held on top of their heads and I got to pick
my
favorite. Sister Madsen won with the cutest "alien" baby!
-Matching game: People had to choose numbers and find the matching words related to baby stuff. Every time someone got
it right they got a candy bar that had something to do with the
words they got. For example: I got breastfeeding, so I got a
Milky Way Bar. Someone got a "10 pound baby" and they got
a box of Whoppers! Great game!

You can look at the pictures and you'll get how fun the games
were!

Then, presents!!!!!!I got so many cute, adorable, girly
things!

I loved all my gifts but the coolest thing ever was a
47-year-old Baby Book in Portuguese!!!Sister Alley
got it when she was pregnant 42 years ago because
her husband served his mission is Brazil. Everyone
was blown away! I almost cried!

I would like to thank all of my friends who SHOWERED
ME WITH LOVE!!!!!!!!!!
Special thanks to Sharon for everything!!!!! You are a
wonderful friend!

Baby shower cookies!

So, my baby shower is tomorrow. I'm very excited! I'm also scared no one will show up. Let's hope that doesn't happen! I spent almost the whole day today making favors. They were a lot of fun to make, but took me much longer than I thought they would. I'm not a very good baker to start with, so just baking the cookies was already a hard task, but decorating took me about 6 hours! I like how they turned out, though. As soon as I have pictures from the shower I'll post them here!

Diaper Cake!

Ben' s aunt and cousin from Seattle came to stay with us for a few days and they brought this cute diaper cake they made. Isn't it adorable? And it is in the nursery colors! So much fun! Isabella's first diapers!

Canada 2009!

Ben and I went to Canada for Easter. We figured it would be nice to have a "last Hoorah" before the baby comes. Also, we wanted to do something special for Ben's birthday which is on the 25th. We spent 2 days in Vancouver and 2 days in Victoria BC. It was wonderful! We had so much fun together. The weather was surprisingly good most of the time and we managed to do a lot of fun things. Here are some photos. Enjoy!

Bella's Room

I know we still have 3 months to go but I get so excited about decorating Isabella's room that I think we're almost done. Ben and I have been doing almost everything by ourselves and I love the fact that Ben has been helping me so much. We are very proud of how it looks so far. We bought inexpensive, plain white bookshelves at Shopko (buy one get one free) and we covered the back with fabric and added the pink wooden trim. We also bought the letters and made the flower pegs ourselves. Ben did such a good job hanging everything. I bought the sheers and made the tiebacks with the spare valance that came with the bedding set. I hope our little baby feels how much we love her when she sees her room.
