Last Saturday I had the most wonderful baby shower! My
friend Sharon organized the whole thing and she had a lot
of help from Briett, Dana and Geneil. Everything looked
really nice, the food was delicious and we all had a lot of fun!
Many of my great friends from our Church came. It was
awesome!
We played three really fun games:
-Diaper game: they melted 15 different types of candy bars
inside 15 disposable diapers and people had to figure out
which candy bar it was. People were looking, smelling and
even
tasting!! LOL! Really gross and fun at the same time!
-Draw the baby game: people were supposed to draw a baby
on a paper plate held on top of their heads and I got to pick
my
favorite. Sister Madsen won with the cutest "alien" baby!
-Matching game: People had to choose numbers and find the matching words related to baby stuff. Every time someone got
it right they got a candy bar that had something to do with the
words they got. For example: I got breastfeeding, so I got a
Milky Way Bar. Someone got a "10 pound baby" and they got
a box of Whoppers! Great game!
You can look at the pictures and you'll get how fun the games
were!
Then, presents!!!!!!I got so many cute, adorable, girly
things!
I loved all my gifts but the coolest thing ever was a
47-year-old Baby Book in Portuguese!!!Sister Alley
got it when she was pregnant 42 years ago because
her husband served his mission is Brazil. Everyone
was blown away! I almost cried!
