Father's Day 2011!

Father's Day is kind of interesting for me right now. On the second Sunday of June Father's Day is celebrated in the US. So I celebrate with Ben. However, on the second Sunday of August, it's Father's Day in Brazil! So, I celebrate with my Dad. (Well, we skype celebrate, but what is a girl to do?)

I guess it's good thing because we get to celebrate twice and celebrating is always fun.

This year, Isabella and I worked on a little project for Ben as you might have seen on
\this blog post . It turned out really cute and I think he liked it.

As usual, Ben had bought himself a gift for Father's Day. He got the Kinnect for the XBox this year. I have pretty much given up trying to surprise him with anything, but I did get him a couple of things he did not know about.

We had our usual dinner at Jim and Robyn's house and I made sure I let Ben know how much we love him and how thankful I am for having such a wonderful husband. He is such an amazing dad. I hope Isabella realizes how lucky she is!
