Last week I saw this recipe on Pinterest. The next day I found an 8-inch cast iron skillet at Winco for $5! I decided it was a sign. I had to make these! They were absolutely delicious and I'm pretty sure I burned my mouth 10 times while eating them straight out of the oven. Don't be like me!
They are very easy and fast (because of the frozen roll shortcut. Don't tell anyone!) You should give it a try. You know you want to!

Here is the recipe from the PW website so you don't have to go over there for it. BUT I highly encourage going over there to see ALL the amazing recipes and fun stuff she posts all the time!
Buttered Rosemary Dinner Rolls
Ingredients
- Frozen, Unbaked Dinner Rolls
- Melted Butter, Regular, Salted
- Fresh Rosemary, Coarsely Chopped
- Coarse Sea Salt
Preparation Instructions
Spray a small iron skillet with cooking spray (or coat with olive oil). Place frozen rolls in the skillet, leaving plenty of room for rising. Cover and allow to rise for several hours.
After rising, brush rolls with melted butter.
Sprinkle on chopped rosemary. Brush with additional butter. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
Bake according to roll package directions (usually 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes), until rolls are a deep golden brown on top.
Serve skillet on the table.
