I was SO sad to see that it has been almost a year since I last blogged. I knew I would regret it when I stopped, but a baby, a new career (which came with a website and a blog), a house, Church, crafts, visiting family, following the WW program,exercising, etc etc etc PLUS keeping a half-way decent blog in which you post at least once a week was just more than I could handle last year.
Well, I'm ready to give it another shot this year. Add that to my mile long list of things I want to learn, develop, undertake, expand, improve, try or experience this year! = )
As I'm sitting here typing this, I have a beautiful baby girl (don't call me baby, mom I'm a toddler now. She doesn't understand, she'll always be my baby!) running around the living room singing, dancing and giggling. Life is good. It really is and that makes me smile.
So, here is a quick update on our family and then some random shots (in REALLY random order) from the last year or so to try and catch up on this little journal of mine.
- Isabella is 20 months old and cuter than ever. She runs, dances, talks (A LOT). She still loves books and Sesame Street. She speaks mostly English but knows a whole lot of Portuguese. Loves the alphabet and numbers. She doesn't like it when we wash her hair. She has just started going to nursery and seems to be enjoying it (as long as daddy is sitting right there). She sleeps well, melts my heart when she says MOMMY and has daddy wrapped around her little finger with those big blue eyes and adorable curls.
- We have just returned from Brazil and we had a great time. So now it's time to get back into the swing of things with my photography. (If Spokane allows me to, since I've had to cancel two sessions in a week because of the silly amount of snow we're still experiencing in March!)
- Ben has been working a lot and is being his wonderful self as usual. = )
-I am still going to WW and the YMCA, trying (one day at a time!) to live a healthier life and be a better example to this beautiful daughter of mine.
Well, if you just got here, stay a while and if you do, I might just come back soon enough to say hi!

so fun. you look amazing!!! oh how much i want summer weather when i see your nice green tropical pictures from Brazil. Miss you too. Happy birthday Sat. if i don't get a chance to chat. We are all still sick just got on antibiotics today.
